Google Print pat response to my OpenWorldCat query
My query to Google Print about the possibility of adding OpenWorldCat links went like so:
Google Print Feedback form was submitted on 2004-10-07 10:16:31.
Other comments: Will there be links to OpenWorldCat included for each item, along with the links to online booksellers?
Their response was like so:
Hello Andrea,
Thank you for your email. We appreciate your taking the time to offer us this feedback regarding a link to OpenWorldCat included on each Google Print title's page. We encourage you to continue to let us know how we can improve Google Print. As this is still a young program, new features are under consideration and your feedback is very helpful.
Sincerely,
The Google Team
I expected more, and better. Especially given the news that OCLC has released the entire WorldCat database into the wild for crawling. Even future librarians see what I mean.
