CIL: Not-so-postmortem
When I'm wrapped up in a conference whirl, I fall into a controlled chaos pattern of:
run around ::chat:: >> sit through session >> post to blog ::chat:: >> rinse and repeat until next meal >> ...
Not to mention the hanging out and blogging multitasking sessions in the bar after dinner. :D
The conference is over for me now, but I still have notes and photos to post, and it's hard to focus well enough on getting it done when I'm distracted by such contrasting silence and stillness.
In any case, soon after I've got the last few session notes up, I'll be posting post-mortem posts on my observations on event blogging experience at CIL, general cool stuff I learned and people I met that may not necessarily be associated directly with a session, and the general message I got from CIL on the direction of technology and librarianship.
For now I'll try to slowly digest the down time after subsisting on a steady diet of frenetic fun over the past week, and say a big thank you to my regular and new readers for stopping by, as well as emailing me such wonderful feedback and support. :)
