Talmud-to-go on your iPod

Talk about cutting out the information delivery middleman.

The ShasPods.com site was brought to my attention reading the latest comic from ShaBot 6000. Daf Yomi participants can get their daily dose of the Talmud via a preloaded iPod so you don't even need to download the files, with space to spare for tons of songs.

If you already own an iPod with enough space on it, you can mail it to them, and they'll upload the files for you. What would be excellent would be to have a subscription-model podcast feed, so that Pod people are never without their iPods, and delivery is easy. That would be a nifty model for chapter-a-day podcast feeds, say, from your local library.
