Boston children's museum need your old, spare keys!!

This came to me via the library staff mailing list. Might be a cute project for a children's room to collect keys and send them as a batch or something...

Boston Children's Museum will reopen to the public in April and everyone is busy getting our fabulous new exhibits ready for you!

The Art Studio is getting a new home - it's designed to feel just like an art- house, welcoming you for a season of housewarming! We want our friends and Members to help us decorate our new home, and here's the first chance to do so!

Inspired by the Recycle Shop (which will be just across the way from The Art Studio) we would like to create a wonderful recycled-chime to hang above the entrance to the house. Hundreds of keys will be hung from a wire frame, and will make a magical sound when brushed with visitors'
hands!

Do YOU have any old, mysterious keys around the house? Could you send us one? We will string it up with others, so every time you come to the Art Studio you can hear the beautiful sound made when many artists work together!

Please send your keys to:
